About Girona Football Club

Girona FC is a professional football club that competes in the Second Division “A”. Apart from the first team, Girona has a subsidiary team, Girona FC “B” that plays in Group 1 of Primera Catalana. The Club also has a broad base football structure that includes fifteen male teams (Youth, Cadets, Children, Juniors and Benjamines) and six women’s teams (First team, Youth, Cadets, Children, Juniors and Benjamines).

Girona’s first team plays its official matches at the Montilivi Stadium, the Girona “B” in the Municipal de Riudarenes; Juveniles “A” and “B” in the Municipal de Vilablareix, while the men’s and women’s grassroots, as well as the first women’s team, in the Torres de Palau sports complex.

Girona FC Academy is a fantastic program reserved for boys and girls aged 5 to 15 years old. At the academy, they can learn, grow, and have fun while training just like professional football players. At Girona FC Academy, there is the power of fun, positivity, and safety in creating a great learning environment. Because of that, their venues offer the same training sessions, carefully designed by our Methodological Coordinator.

Their team of professionals is well-versed in the Girona FC methodology, giving a high-quality experience for all participants, regardless of their football level.

To ensure the best possible experience, participants are grouped based on their age and skill level. This way, everyone can train and improve alongside peers who are at a similar stage in their football journey. Girona FC Camp takes place during the festive periods of Christmas, Easter, and Summer.

At the academy, students are taught the Philosophy and methodology of the Girona FC as well as taking them through the right training to be professionals.
