About Crystal Palace Football Club

Crystal Palace Football Club is a professional football team in Selhurst, South London, England. They play in the Premier League, the highest level of English football. The club was established in 1905 at the Crystal Palace Exhibition building, but they can trace their history back to 1861 when an amateur Crystal Palace football team played on a cricket pitch within the Palace grounds.

From 1905 to 1915, Crystal Palace Football Club used the FA Cup final stadium within the Palace grounds as their home stadium until they had to relocate due to the First World War.
